Battery Care and Handling
Storage
Store the batteries in a cool dry place. Room temperature is fine but extreme temperatures reduce battery performance. It is unnecessary to store batteries in the refrigerator – this does NOT improve performance.
Do not allow battery terminals to touch during storage. (9Vs Only)
Usage
Each time you install new batteries, clean the contact surfaces with a new pencil eraser or cloth.
Insert the batteries correctly according to the positive and negative symbols on your device.
Don’t mix old and new batteries.
Remove batteries from idle devices.
Always read your device’s instruction manual and follow the recommendation for battery size.
Only recharge batteries clearly marked ‘rechargeable’. NEVER try to recharge a disposable battery.
Disposal
NEVER dispose of batteries in fire, as they could explode, leak or rupture.
